i have a silky pullet that has a head puff and 4 toes with no feathering on her legs. I have 2 roosters with no head puffs, and 1has 4 toes the other has a puff with streamers and feathered feet.Does anybody have any or know of any chickens that have silkie feathering but don't have a head puff or feather legs? I always imagine chickens like that. I think it would be really cool to have chickens like that.... If there isn't any, maybe I'll try to make some one day. I want a silkie with no feather legs, and a silkie with no feather legs or a head puff.
Thanks for any replies!

I have another pullet with very little head puff. So, they are all different. I had a hard time identifying them until 15 weeks old.

Well...... They were supposed to be silkied cochins, that's even what my mom told me, but then she showed me the ebay listing and I found out they are Cochin and mostly silkie mixes. What have we here?
Silkied ameraucanas were kindof a fad a while back when the silkie mutation popped up in someones flock. Im sure there are some flocks still around if you google em![]()

Cute birds! Where did you get them? Your cockerels remind me of my Silkie boy, Winter, when he was younger. This is him now
