Are these ameraucana or EE?

I would find out if they are siblings from a bbs ameraucana group. If they are, then you can’t really have one be an ameraucana and the other not.

You said you want a large egg layer? In my opinion, the ameraucanas lay a medium size egg. Beautiful blue, but medium size.

Medium is okay! My current rooster is a silkie/old English bantam...medium eggs will do just fine compared to that!

:thumbsup Good deal. I just didn’t want you to be disappointed. It’s all relative, right? We have some chickens that lay eggs so large I can’t place them next to each other in the carton. I have to mix them amongst smaller eggs so they fit! But you certainly can’t beat the color they add!

I also have quail....medium is huge, Lol!!!!
 
So true, I'm too found of my mixed bantam rooster to give him up though. I'll just have to replace the large fowl girls as needed. Can't wait to see pictures after you get them! I don't think either is a true Ameraucana, but they are still very handsome!
