Are these Ameraucanas? Ameraucana Mutts? Or EEs?

None of them look like Wheaten or Blue Wheaten Ameraucanas if you know what a true Wheaten or Blue Wheaten Ameraucana looks like. Take that from Jean and myself who are Wheaten and BW Ameraucana breeders.

They are all Easter Eggers. Nothing wrong with that at all as long as that's what you were after and what you want.

The rest has already been answered. For REAL, truthful information on Ameraucanas, go to the source: www.ameraucana.org

God Bless,

Hatcheries do not sell real ameraucanas. They may look similar, but are indeed easter eggers. If you have a bird that matches the standard word for word, then it must breed true.

Which means if it is white and bred to another white bird, then the offspring must be white.

There was a breeder working on Salmon Ameraucanas, which are still considered EE till thecolor is accepted. They look like they could be part of that project. My EE girl was from them and she was supposed to be Salmon, but looks like one of your more wheaten-looking girls with blue in the tail. Very pretty, but still EEs. My June lays HUGE green eggs, very nice ones.

looks like easter eggers to me.

I've had EE/australorp crosses. The hens laid olive green eggs, and the roosters were calm and friendly. They were all pretty good-sized, and I liked them a lot.
