Can anyone help identify these two chicks? We rescued them from under a cardboard box someone had placed over them. We think they might be turkeys only because we live in a big wild Turkey area. We've fed them worms and egg yolks but don't know if we are doing the right thing! Also we've added a heat lamp. They are so cute and fall asleep in your hands. They appear to be about 1-2 weeks old and squak like crazy. How often should we feed them? What should we do with them??

Those are not turkeys. I can't specifically say what species but they are some type of wild flying bird, and by the looks of it a bigger one. I would take them to a local wildlife rehabber.

If they are you can actually legally keep them if you want! You'll have to research what to feed them but they can make great pets and actually learn to talk and mimic sounds like parrots.

Aww yay I love animal rescuer people like me!! Keep us posted! Would love to watch them grow up if you do decide to keep them
