I'd feel pretty confident saying they are both roos. Some pics of the second birds saddle feathers and tail might lay some debate to rest. Although from the looks of the comb at that age...and the legs...screams roo to me.

Thanks so much for your observations.

They are both 8 weeks old.

The EE is calm, and so beautiful - I didn't know you could sex the EE's by the coloring..... good to know.

I'll try and get some better photos of the RIR this afternoon.

i think #1 is a roo my amerucana's are the same age and all of them have yellow combs I'm not sure about the other one but I would guess roo also
