Awesome! Yes here in South Africa it is one of the most well known breeds!
Just wish I knew how to sex them!

How old are they? Generally you can tell between 6-8 weeks by comb color and development.

What breed are they? They look like they may be a hybrid. Can help in determining gender.
They all look pretty girly so far anyway.

One of them are black... don’t think he/she is a koekoek

So interesting. I had never heard of this breed before. Apparently it’s a breed-specific to South Africa developed in the 1960s using Australorps, white leg horns and barred rock among others.

Second one has a rather large comb, maybe the fourthe one too.

I also saw that they say thy have distinct sex markings but I don’t know what they are or where to find info regarding it...
