Are these cochins, if so what color?

mabe black sexlinks

Commercially raised sex-links do not have feathered feet. Futhermore I do not know of any cross that will throw sex-linked Partridge birds...

Probably partrige cochens. My free exotic buff cochin from MM didn't have many foot feathers when he first feathered out eather, but he did get more. And he is big.

They were hatched the weekend right before Memorial Day. They aren't to big. Probably a little bit bigger than my adult silkie bantam rooster. I have noticed they didn't seem as feathered as pictures on feathersite.com but assumed they were just still young. When I googled pictures of the Partridge Cochins Pullets they looked similar. They are definitely soft. I tried to get more pictures today but my camera battery died. I'll try to get some batteries tomorrow though and take some pictures. I've heard that cochins are good setters. Will they set on other eggs besides their own? We have 3 females and 1 male of the group. This summer my father-in-law tried incubating eggs and didn't have much luck with the chicken eggs. We did have a duck that hatched out 11 ducklings on her own and a young chicken that we had hatched out in March that hatched out 6 chicks that we didn't even know about. Have a huge area for them to free range in that has tall weeds for them to hide. Next year we are thinking of letting them hatch their own but we have some breeds that won't set.

These birds don't have the face of a cochin nor feathers on the legs really and def. not the feet. They aren't puffy even. What about cornish?
