Are these Dominiques?

I bought a dozen chicks from a local farmer and he had RIR, Dom's and EE. I think these two are the Doms Am I right? Is the darker one maybe a pullett and the lighter a cockerell?

The cockerel is not a dominique.

The pullet may be, but I can't see her comb to tell if she has a rose comb.

That first one's definately not a dominique, probably one of the EEs. The other one may be a dominique, what type of comb does it have? Based on the color, it looks like a pullet.

dominique's have a double comb, barred rock has a single comb.I ordered one of each in roosters or I would have never know!!

Thank you Bamaman, I think you posted pics as I was figuring out how to do it myself.

Okay, zatsdeb so when you say double comb you mean like to rows of the bumpy stuff (can you tell I am very new at this?) vs just one row of the bumps? I think s/he only has one row so far. Just for fun here is another picture of some of my other babies!

Dom's have a rose comb, kinda flat lookin', if it is only one row of points, its probably a Barred rock.

A rose comb will look flat and broad compared to a single comb.

If you look at the comb on the brown chick in your last picture it'll look more like that.

A single comb is real easy to spot looks just like a hair comb.
