Are they fertile?
These are the two yolks from the double yolker.

Does this look fertile to you?
These are all of the same yolk.

They look fertile to me, but I have to admit I'm trying to look at that little spot on my phone, and squinting quite a bit :P

OK. Well. The thing is that the eggs are from my 21 week old pullet and I don't have a rooster.
Me and another BYC member both think that they look fertile, but the only rooster I have is only 12 weeks. Isn't he wayyyyy too young? He is crowing a bit.

No, he is not way too young, 12 weeks is on the early side of sexual maturity but not out of the question... Depending on his genetics, food, lighting and what not it's very possible he is sexually mature at 12 weeks...

That's neat! He's like half the size as them! Maybe I should see if I could hatch one of the eggs! I have to trade him for a pullet because I'm not allowed to have roos so maybe I can get one of his young? I hope my Silkie starts laying and then goes broody soon!

Here's another egg.
