I finally found my guinea hen's clutch of eggs in the tall grass in the pasture. Question: How likely are viable eggs to survive if she doesn't sit on the eggs overnight? The lows recently have been in the 60s and low 70s. But tonight's low dips down to 58, with a low in the mid 45s in a few days.
Background: We have a mated pair of guinea fowl that free range during the day, but come into the coop with the chickens at night. She's been doing this for a couple of weeks now: sitting on the eggs during the day, but coming back into the coop at night. Thanks for any advice!
