I don't think the local lady has any males so they wouldn't be fertile anyway. think it's totally worth trying to hatch as many as you can, I'm not trying to persuade you other wise. :] just thinking if you haven't seen them doing the dirty deed....too bad someone hasn't developed small house hold ultrasound machines. perhaps you can find a vet or a midwife that has one.Might be able to put 4 or 5 more in there. Then will be at capacity. If she lays and the egg freezes, I’ll open it up next week. Or just get a wild hair and sacrifice one.
Fertile Emu eggs go for $100 in this area. Never looked up what a blown egg goes for… I’ll have to see what Craigslist has.
But of course I'm nutty and a bit paranoid ( mad inventor complex) so anything I say isn't 'do able' or 'rational' or 'why can't you just leave it alone?!'
