Are these girls ready to go to the coop?

LOL, LOVE your coop! Little chicken castle! Beautiful.

The chicks look fully feathered to me, or close enough. I'd send their birdy butts outside.

Oh thank you! They are really comfortable in it too. At least so far. Thanks for looking at the pics I appreciate the feedback.

Well mine aren't nearly as cute as yours, but here's our brooder/coop - we bought two chicken hutches and combined them:

It was super easy when we moved it outside, since the kids already knew it was "home." They put themselves to bed from day one.

Our next project is making this old trailer into a coop:

Progress has been slow, but it's coming along! The inside is gutted and re-walled with insulation and plywood, still needs to be painted and all the odds and ends put in. Also my husband is putting down ceramic tile for the floor, since he had some extra (!!). He thinks I should paint it to look like a 60's flower power bus, with huge daisies and bright colors! We can call our eggs "Hippy Chicks' Groovy Eggs," hahaha!

That is awesome! I love the brooder such a great space and what a fabulous idea for a coop! Also love the name! You could get those big sticky bathtub daisies from the 70's and stick em on! I bet you can order them in assorted sizes online that would be awesome! Thanks for sharing your pictures.
