Are these mite or lice eggs?

I noticed that my chickens had poop around their vent so I checked them for lice and mites. The following pictures are what I saw. I think they are mite eggs, but I am not sure. What do you think?

Northern fowl mites lay eggs on the chicken's feathers. Do you see any of the adult mites? Look around the vent ans neck area. You can verify this for yourself by snagging a few mites and looking at them under a magnifying lens and counting the legs. If you see eight legs, your chicken has mites. If you count six legs, those would be lice.
