So we are thinking d’uccle or booted bantams? The d’uccle are gorgeous I almost ordered a few this year anyway

I remember now that “bantams” were what was mixed in with them (and there were chicks with plain feet [and chipmunk pattern and coloring] in there so I and the sales guy presumed THOSE were the bantams. Dumb me totally forgot about the black skin in my excitement).

So what did they turn out to be, D'uccle's? I got four just like yours from a TSC in Maryland - and they're the most beautiful little birds, now! All four of ours are Porcelain D'uccles - and it looks like we may have even lucked into getting at least one pair. I'm a happy chicken camper!

They are in fact d’uccles and they are absolutely marvelous birds! Out of the 10 breeds we’ve had so far, the d’uccles are absolutely the sweetest we are very happy!
