Are these quail eggs too old to eat?

They're dated February 28th, found in the back of the fridge so I figured I'd boil them up. If they're not safe for us to eat, can the birds have them? Most are floating...

They're probably still good, but I probably wouldn't eat them because I'm picky.

According to CA egg handlers' guidelines, they can be packaged 30 days after they've been laid, and the sell date is 30 days after that. They're usually good for at least a week after the sell by date.

Thanks, I'll toss the most buoyant ones.
 
i'd break them open (separate bowl) and toss any that seem strange.
