Are these roos or hens?

Alright, so I my husband got home and I made him hold the larger of the two for some photos. Before taking these we noticed how the neck and back feathers were slightly different on the larger one. I feel confident after all the responses that they are most likely pullets with maybe one assuming the role of a roo, however, we then noticed the difference in feathers. So I hope these pictures help and as always appreciate everyone's input. Many thanks!

I'm sorry to bump, but I still haven't had any replies since I uploaded more photos. Any more input?

That would be funny to set up a video camera. Then you could see what chickens do when we aren't watching. LOL

Pop the one you are suspicious of in your garage over night. Hopefully if its a boy it will crow for its girls in the morning and you will know for sure.

I believe it tends to be only older hens that crow not young pullets. Could be wrong though.

Lol that is so funny! I was actually thinking about doing that. Thanks everyone for the help!

The lighter colored bird is the rooster, the one you posted those up close pictures of. At this age, a crowing bird is a rooster. Hens don't do that until they're older, or have hormonal issues.
