Are these saddle feathers

Hens and roosters both have saddle feathers. A roo's saddle feathers are pointer and a hen's are more rounded.

No I have 3 16 week old pullets that bully her. That’s why her beak is all scabbed. I thought we were making progress. But the beak incident occurred when the wouldn’t let her in the coop one evening.

That's to bad! Hopefully you get it worked out! She's really pretty.

I’m new to chickens this year and I have a questionable buff Orpington that some of you thought was looking roo-ish. Can someone tell me in these are saddle feathers coming in? She is almost 10 weeks. She also has two tail feathers with brown lacing. I feel like I never guess right on the gender posts so I obviously I have no idea what I’m looking for.

Those kinda do look like saddles to me. Her/his comb is also mighty pink. Wait and see...

Yes they are saddle feathers.
