5 month old lavender Orpington hen, hatched from a pure lavender hen and a split black lavender rooster. She has had the most awkward slow growth and looked like a weird rubber chicken for months, and is still looking not quite right. I’ve been so afraid of the shredded gene that I got a split rooster in hopes of not breeding that in. Could this still be awkward teen growth or are they most likely shredded?
