Why do you try to exclude that the fox caused an internal injury?

2 years old is a young chicken. I have a 9 year old that recovered completely after an attack last autumn. It took a few months. But she looks and acts great again.

Because I highly doubt it did. Whatever wounds she got could be recovered from within less than I month. Im concerned about the breathing problem since I don't know whether its an MG flare up or bird flu. That's all I want to know

Do you know how foxes kill? A fox does not just start ripping into their prey. They bite through multiple quick, precise bites that are meant to cause internal injuries and collapse the prey’s insides. These bites will leave small punctures and are not meant to shred or rip apart flesh. This is to render their prey helpless before they eat them. Internal injuries are very common from a fox attack and even what appears to be only a small punctures of a bite can cause a lot more damage than what you see at the surface. If you intervened before the fox actually was able to start eating your chicken then the external injuries will appear minor on the outside, but internally there is a very very high chance damage has been done.

Ok, you can doubt it, agree to disagree. The bottom line, certainly the stress of the attack could bring on a flare up of MG, you already know it is in your flock. So treat her for that, with tylosin, asap, along with supportive therapy for the fox wounds. As I said before, if it is AI you will know soon enough, the rest of your flock will rapidly show signs. There won't be anything more you can do about that, if she's been exposed, they all have. It's also possible she has some airsac damage from the attack. Someone with more knowledge than I have may be able to help you with that, if it is the case.

Ditto here. I had a Black Maran that I rescued after a dog attack on the neck and base of skull. You'd never know it now.
