How do you guys weigh your chickens for accuracy??? Is there a special chicken scale?

We took the scale we use to weigh our food. It was hard because we had to weigh the box first, then put the chicken in ... once the chicken and the box were on the scale it was almost impossible to see the numbers. We ended up putting the box on the scale and hitting clear so it would register the box as a negative, and only give us the weight of the bird on the positive side.
There must be an easier way! lol

After seeing my pictures Welp hatchery swears these are the white rocks I ordered. the males feather in more slowly because of the rapid growth, but they should lay as planned. Supposedly they look great! lol


We'll see in a few weeks! If they are too big, too fast, I'm still going to butcher them and get new birds somewhere else.

Thanks for the u-tube feed! They do look like my chickens ... just a teeny bit smaller. I am pretty confident that I have white rocks too.
