They might be andalusian crosses, but not pure. Their combs aren't large enough and they don't lay white eggs.

They look lovely - the eggs are a beautiful variety of colour. Your very lucky. It really doesn't matter much that they are not Marans. My darn Maran never ever lays dark eggs at all!!!!!!! Her eggs are the same colour as my PRs! So it doesn;t always work out.

I see one of your girls is laying a dark egg for you anyhow whatever she is. You also seem to be getting a lovely blue/green egg so I am indeed quite jealous of that!!!!!!

The gey chick I had pictured turned out to be a he. Looks like I was getting him and not a variety in the early pictures. The grey ones that lay the blue green are differnt body style and the furry faces.
