They say it's because of a server upgrade, but I'm really believing it's an A p r i l F o o l ' s joke. A p r i l F o o l comes up as BYC Member, too... and e g g comes up as rooster! You ought to search for egg recipes - kinda funny!

Ok.. Ok... you got me... who is the funny one!!

Hi Jeff, thanks for the feedback. Yes, they're eating the same thing as the others, 20% starter/grower. DARN, I was hoping I just had some hefty white chicks.

You very well might have some big white chicks.... but I doubt it. It still is a possiblity though... Don't hold me accountable if they turn out to be white rocks!!

I didn't even notice the post count until you said something... hahah.. there is going to be a lot of upset people if they can't get it to go back... haha.

Hmm, my chicks weren't fed a special broiler feed, just regular 20% chick starter, and only for two weeks, too. Then I moved them to a regular 18% grower food, trying to keep their growth as slow as possible, and they were still twice as big as your chicks.
Maybe your chicks aren't cornish X or purebred, but some other type of big white mixed breed?

There is many different strains of Cornish x so it's hard to say... time will tell. My fingers are crossed for you...

Well, since they aren't growing quite like weeds (yet) I guess I'm just going to continue treating them like regular chickens. Time will tell and then I'll figure out what I'm going to do with them.
