I had thought about that but I don't think I could disguise the eggs as chickens eggs from the supermarket, they are too big and I think the penalty for knowingly smuggling hatching eggs wouldn't be worth it.
I have told my husband I want 2 years experience with the "cheap" colours and then I would like to import some of the new colours out there as day olds. I would like to make my mistakes on stuff I didn't pay a fortune for. The big hatcheries McMurrays, Ideal, Holderreades etc all ship day olds to bordertowns for import into Canada. You just pay the $65 for the heath papers and drive to the US bordertown post office pick them up and recross the border. I am hoping that some peafowl breeders also offer this service. Do you Deerman?

Never have, but my flock is NPIP tested for shipping to other States. Could check and see what it would take, if a hatcheries can ,I should be able to.
