Are Welsummers predator savvy?

I was actually wondering about that too, but I have never had Welsummers before haha

Yeah... that is not a Welsummer... that's a Speckled Sussex. They are good birds too though. I have both and they are both friendly and keep an eye out for predators... and are both voracious foragers.

My specific welsummer is named "Sunny Summer" by my 6-year old as she suns more than any other chicken I have- or have ever had. I think that's just a random single-bird trait though!
