Are White Midget Turkeys Messy?

I am considering getting white midget turkeys, and I was wondering if they make a lot of mud like ducks, or if the just make a lot of poo. Thanks! Have a great evening and God Bless!

Turkeys generally make poop and not mud. It does depend on your substrate. Good drainage and cleaning keeps a clean turkey run and pen. We use sand in the shed and scoop poop daily, the run is gravel in the higher end and grass in the lower end. Turkeys also don't scratch as much as chickens, so they are easier on the run substrate as well.
