Are You A Brinsea Owner? - April Hatch Along - Prize: Ecoglow Brooder!

Quote:
I plan to set duck eggs. Weather has been extremely cold, but I got two unfrozen ones this morning! I just need to be out at the crack of dawn to snatch the eggs and beat my neighbours dog from eating them! You would be bored Randy without me giving you a little competition! So count me in.....

Thats what I was thinking. Its been rather warm here but in the low fifty's tonight. Glad, you found some eggs. I'm gonna get the big brooder come hell or high water. I'm gonna use the heat lamps one more time & thats it.

I just received my new Eco 20, so I'll be happy to join in.

On another note, I have trouble candling some of my darker cochin eggs -- they are really dark brown. I'm lookinat at purchasing the OvaView High Intensity egg candler or the Ovascope. Will the Ovascope candle dark eggs, or would the regular candler with high intensity be better?

TIA,

Becky in still cold and snowy North Dakota

Yes, for you to qualify for the prize drawing you need to post the same picture or video here and on Brinsea's facebook page.

The incubator forum is quite active, this got bounced to the fourth page in no time!

Can't wait until the start of April though! I am not hatching any eggs, but I am looking forward to seeing everyone's hatches! I get to live vicariously though ya'all.

Hey Stacy, now that I've almost completed the month I wish I had made note of the post # when peeps signed on and kept the BYC name alphabetically.

Count me in, I just ordered a Brinsea octagon 20 incubator today! I will definitely have eggs hatching sometime in april in it! Now I have to go sign up for facebook...yeah I never jumped on that bandwagon. I will post back exactly when they should hatch as soon as the incubator/eggs arrive.
Oh yeah, I want the ovascope!
Wish I would have known about that coupon before I ordered mine today...

Ohh, I will definitely start keeping track of post #s now, and go through and get all the ones already signed up. I think I may be able to tell excel to organize the rows (and corresponding information to each person) alphabetically. Been a while since I've done any big work with the program, but it is so great for information organization.
