Are you adding to your flock this spring?

I’ve just placed an order for 30 chicks, beginning of May. Super excited. Trying out a bunch of different breeds we’ve never had before, and we will be hatching our own Polish and silkies also. Anyone else have chicken math excitement going on?

Im planning to end up with at least 3 more chickens sometime this year. I want to find some nice gamefowl. I’ve already hatched a lot of ameraucanas and EE but I’m hoping to sell them off this spring.

Yes. Even though I’ve ordered 30 and will be hatching, I’m selling a bunch...including all the roosters as we don’t keep them.

I want 2-4 more pullets. Leaning toward BOs (JadeFarms don't hate me for that), or maybe BAs, if that's what TSC has as pullets. I'm also thinking how cool it would be to hatch some BO over BA mutts, and call them Buff Aus, or Orpalorps.

No more than four, as that maxes out my space. Though I'm thinking of ways to enlarge my space too.

Yes, but I will be hatching out chick's from my own flock. That's why I am up to 3 boy's now, and trying to figure out what the 4th boy I want to keep will be. I will be hatching out more Naked Neck's, some Silver Grey Dorking's, some Aloha's, and a project of NN/Aloha's.

I want at least a couple more of them, but you have to take whatever a hatchery send's to you and I only want the buff colored one's with the yellow leg's for my project. All but one of my Naked Neck pullet's have the slate colored leg's.

Nope, subtracting. Have six Swedish Flower hens, only want three. So the other 3 will be sold now that they’re laying age.

I don’t blame them although Swedish flower hens are very pretty
