Poop board for the Win!!

Should have done this from the start! Definitely keeps the bedding much cleaner. I had originally installed a slanted board to discourage them from scratching in the droppings, but good ol' Gravity had the last laugh on that one.... Poop board fail. And the birds didn't much like the roost over it either. I've since fixed it to a flat board about 14"wide, about 4" below the roost. Someone on this thread mentioned that they use a tarp on their board and just remove it when it needs a thorough clean which I thought was a good idea.

Some nice poop boards! I love your set up!!! My poop board is 84" x 36" with two roosts above it (one about 12" above and the other a foot back about 24" above). On the poop board I have 3 galvanized pans with Sweet PDZ. I use a kitty litter scoop and clean the Sweet PDZ about every 3rd or 4th day. This pic was taken the day I put my girls in their coop for the first time....that's why it looks so clean.
