Firs day of fall here and the high is 65 F!!!

Our high is 63° F today, definitely feeling like fall here. I'm so sorry you're still dealing with such excessive heat there.

Nope fall equals allergy season for me the cold makes me sneeze constantly and makes it harder to breathe

I love the fall “vibes” but I am going to miss the trees and 80 degree weather.

The thing I most miss when winter arrives is the sound of the wind blowing through the leaves of the trees

EVERY single thing. For my chickens I like that the heat is over for them. i feel like it's easier to get them out of the cold that keep them cool for the extreme heat. The dove to scratch up leaves. It may be the first time in 58 years I will look forward to raking leaves. Wonderful thread, thank you!

Definitely! I love fall! Mild temperatures, fall leaf colors, apple and pumpkin flavors in everything, and, most of all, the darned mosquitoes will finally start dying down here!! I've already watched my favorite fall-themed show like 8 times.

One of my favorite things to do in the fall is go driving in the Smokies. It's so beautiful up there.

I do love the sound of the leaves rustling in the wind, especially the cottonwood trees with their heavier, thicker leaves that make such a satisfying clacking sound as they rustle. And then in the fall when a stronger gust blows through the woods, there's a few minutes where leaves are just floating gently to the ground... I don't like winter at all, and I do miss when the leaves are on the trees, so I can relate at least to that part.
