Are you looking forward to fall?

It's almost fall already...Wasn't it just spring!? Are any of you looking forward to the change in seasons, or are you fretting about it?

I try to see the silver lining, but no, I don't like fall. I don't even live where the winters are crazy cold! I think 1) the lack of strong, lengthy sunshine and 2) the missing greenery ruin it for me. Side note: I really wonder if people are born with innate climate preferences or develop them based on where they live. I don't enjoy hating half of the seasons hahaha, but seasonal depression is very real for me...

Anyway, I'm glad for everyone who does enjoy it! And for people in the minority like me, buy some sun bulbs and get a bunch of indoor plants XD We will get through this!!

I’m with you and always bewildered why more people aren’t seriously mourning the death of summer. Every. Year. …however!!! I just moved out of the city and into California wine country and man! I’m sooo excited to be here in the country all the beauty and autumn charm is knocking my socks off! First time I’ve ever loved the fall!!!
. …best of all…we are about to start building the coop for my lifelong dream: CHICKENS!!!!!! MY chickens!!!

I do not like fall because it means shorter days and colder weather. I hate winter because here in Ohio, it seems like we have 2 months of summer, 2 months of rain, and eight months of winter. Yesterday was 90° and today it's breezy and 60°. Fall and winter can bugger off!

Maybe if it wasn't 100F, humid, and full of pollen, summer would be nice.
