I don't know exactly how long, but maybe several hours. BYH was down for less than an hour, but BYC has a much larger database, with many more add-ons. We're planning on doing the BYC upgrade in the coming weeks.

Several hours? That's not bad at all! I was expecting several days

It's still possible that things could go wrong, causing it to take longer, but we don't have to import everything into new software like we had to last time, so it's a lot more straightforward.
