ARE YOU NORMAL? - The Bathtub Test

During a recent visit to the mental asylum, to visit my uncle, I asked the director, "How do you determine whether or not a patient should be institutionalized?"

"Well," said the director, "we fill up a bathtub, then we offer a
teaspoon, a teacup and a bucket to the patient and ask him or her to empty the bathtub."

"Oh, I understand," I said "A normal person would use the bucket because it's bigger than the spoon or the teacup."














"No." said the director, "A normal person would just pull the plug.

Do you want a bed near the window?"

Well, at least I chose a bucket. Now fit me for my pretty white coat and give me a good dose of sedatives!

My husband heard me laughing and so I read the first part of the post and then asked which tool would he use.. After a few seconds of thought and dramatically stroking his chin, he asks "does the tub have a drain?"

I guess he doesn't get to stay with me. Clever lil man..

I asked myself that and I would have used bucket.

Hubby was asked that question and he said pull the plug!

Ha, i guess im not as crazy as I thought. Pull the plug was the first thought I had.
