Are you Pro-Gun because of predators?

I've always been pro-gun. I grew up hunting and shooting all kinds of different gun. I am also legally licensed to carry concealed.

I'd like to comment on the comment that SSS is cowardly. The other word you wanted to use was chicken $hit right?! Well I have SSS'd and cowardly (or the other word) is not something I have ever been accused of. I am that guy that will do what other people can not bring themselves to do. When you have morons for neighbors it doesn't always make sense to shoot their cat and then delivery it to their front door. Ever hear the phrase "you can't argue with stupid"? That is the situation I was in for the last year, but now the morons have moved. Some people can not be reasoned with using normal logic. My old neighbors were twisted people and so I used SSS when I needed to with them.

Always been pro gun. I hunt and shoot competitivley. There's nothing mystical or scary about a firearm. It's just another usefull tool like a shovel or a hammer.

I am pro - gun because I was raised in a rural culture where guns were/are part of every day life. Guns are not foreign to me and carry no hidden 'mystiqu

Emaker, I am curious as to whether you have ever lost an animal or bird to a neighbor's dog. At one time, I would have agreed with you completely. That was before dogs ripped open the belly of the first goat I ever owned.

Until then, it's all kind of theoretical.

Frankly, this discussion has veered off the Predators and Pests aspect of gun ownership a bit too much, tempers have flared, so perhaps it's time to bring down the curtain.
