This thread came at a great time! My chicks are about 6 weeks. Pickle here was supposed to be a pullet, but I'm thinking probably not. 🙃

Great comparison thanks, is it normal for the hen to be above the cockerel in pecking order, my hen seems to boss my cockerel around at this age a lot!
 
Does anyone know if you can base a buff rocks sex this way? I post last week asking for help identifying my 2 chicks breed and it seems like they may be buff rocks. I plan to post them again in a week but as of now they definitely favor the pulled in this picture 🤞
