No break, in fact laying more than ever. I (almost) wish they would cut it out. lol I have more eggs than I can handle. From 6 young hens and a few old ones I am getting 8-11 a day. But here in California the weather is great, so that's probably why. But you know, i just want to say that even 3, 4 and 5 year old hens can produce a lot of eggs.
