Arizona Chickens

Well, I have redworms, too. Maybe it is getting a little out of hand...

I want earthworms for my garden too. Which are best for Arizona and where could I get them? I hace some PVC cut to make in-ground compost feeders and am anxious to get that started.

If you look on Craigslist under Farm & Garden there is someone who sells earthworms for composting. My courtyard has a lot of them, maybe because we keep it wetter than normal?

Oh, you know if you look on Rose websites, I think they have home made recipes (all natural) to spray on to get rid of mildew and fungus and stuff. I want to say it's a dilute vinegar spray? But not sure, so would look it up!

Already awesome because he already has his dukes up and knows how to defend himself. The US tech had me turn on my side and was jabbing me in the stomach trying to turn him around. When he finally did, all we saw was a scowl and a fist.

Wow! Wow! Wow!
That is so neat! I bet you can't wait to hold that handsome little scrapper in your arms.

Scrapper... LOL . He totally will be, too. He won't have a choice between his dad and his Pop (my dad). He better get tough and QUICK.

Oh yeah and the chickens are fine, too...

. What breeds are they?

Only 6 out of 21 are clean-legged and I am hoping they are sebrights, the rest are either cochins or maybe a couple of brahmas and some are supposed to be frizzles. There is one with a vaulted head i thought might be a silkie but when I got it home I saw it is not 5 toed and has not got black skin so I have no idea. They came from Privett. I will have to get some individual photos and post them for identity help. The clean legged are incredibly tiny but very strong and fast. Much more so than the feather-legs. They are all eating and drinking and very very healthy and alert.

And Mr. BigBarf is so cute I fully understand how he could get away with barfing on you, peeing on the bedsted, and giving you a fat lip. You'll wanna watch that trend, huh?

It just SCREAMS Animal House, doesn't it?

All came from privitt hatchery originally. I got 21

I got several of these yellowish and some have reddish buff or grayish colors on their backs. Some have cheek puffs. feather legs.

This is all I can tell for now. I know some of the frizzles will not show yet so there is always that .
