Happy Resurrection Day everyone!! I can't believe how many jelly beans my dog has eaten this morning. That can't be good for him. He knows how the younger kids like to drop whatever they are eating, so he is on high alert. Good thing he will be outside when we go to church. He will be so hyper!
Mahonri-- I know you have been very generous to so many chicken folks, too. It's good to see you on the receiving end.
Leanna-- It is my understanding that you can put fresh chicken poo right on your plants. I struggle with gardens here in Rio Rico, mostly losing it to free range cows and javelinas. This year I planted a little garden in bales of straw. I did it because I can do it inside the big fence and the dog won't dig in it. The problem is that straw isn't very nutritious. My plants weren't doing so well. I went to the coop and gathered poop in a bucket, added water to make some good poop soup, and put it right on my plants. I could see an improvement within about 4 days.
