Man, we were walking and got stuck in that thing. It was wild! I'm afraid to go outside to see the damages to the garden. I just spent all morning straightening the tomatoes and corn up from Sunday's storm. I did look out the window to make sure the chicks were still covered so that I don't have chicks flying all over the neighborhood. Those Fayoumis would have taken full advantage if the storm had lifted the covers off of their pen!
I did see the shade cover blow off the tomatoes, again. Ugh!

Ack! Dust in my eyes, grit in my mouth, sneezing like crazy, shade cloth blown away, grapevines beat up. Hope the green cotton survived. Chickens just hunkered down and took it. And no rain to tamp it down. Ugh.

I'm sick at my stomach. The 'bator shot up to 106f sometime this afternoon and I just caught it. I'm thinking evil thoughts about the little girl who was visiting but then again it IS an LG.

Is there any hope for eggs baked during lockdown???

...yes there is dirt EVERYWHERE. Even the lights inside have halos right now. Unfortunately, right after the dust hit us, the neighbor called: he needed a ride home from the sports bar! So, we trucked down on the side streets to pick up up.

It was crazy.
