I will have some eggs available at some point. I was almost to that point, the incubator was getting pretty full since I was getting 3 or 4 a day, and now they are all broody. All four sitting on three eggs LOL! I think Meg is wanting some to hatch too.

You build fast!!

I went out to work on mine today but turned around and came right back into the ac. 105 degrees with 30% humidity. Way to uncomfortable for this old lady.

I still have to make a door, and put it up. Hey Mikey!

Let me know when...

I had seramas, but they could slip through anything, and were eventually eaten by the dogs.

If you all decide to do a trip to NM for eggies, I will toss in some $ for some eggs too

Are the puppies still hungry?

I was wondering the same thing!!

I'm putting this here first.... before I try Craig's list or elsewhere.

I'm selling my trio of Wheaten Marans. I'll be asking $80 for the three. I could easily get $35 for each hen.

Wheaten roo, with a Wheaten hen and a Blue Wheaten Hen. They hatched out on New Years Day and both hens are laying... but less frequently in this heat.
They are beautiful, but I just don't have the room I need for four breeds... I'm going to stick with my French Black Coppers/Icelandics & W/BW Ameraucanas.

First serious PM for all three will get them.

Came home to find we lost another hen:(. She was one of the younger ones, only about a year and a half old. Weird thing to me is that it doesn't seem as hot as in years recently past? Here's to hoping the next 6 weeks go by fast.

Mine are good all morning, but in the afternoon, and then way into the night (when it's cooler than in the late morning), they are panting. Poor babies! They are managing, thanks to the mister.

Mine hate the mister or getting wet at all, they wont go by the big ice blocks i put out for them either. all I can do is hose off some dirt and keep their water cool and clean.

Anytime this week. I need to know when they hatched though.
