When we first got together (9-1/2 years ago) she wanted a garden but says no garden now. (She's gonna get one anyway!

She loves to read but right now is working on 9th grade science which she had never taught and finishing up her Masters & professes no self control so she will not pick up a book.

She doesn't really have any friends (I know that sounds terrible

). She is a beautiful person

but is so wrapped up in work...

Maybe I should take her to dinner and corrupt her. I have hobbies that are custom made for waiting places (besides reading, that is. Reading isn't a hobby, its a lifeline).

OK enough posting - time to get back to work!

We went back to work after the last you know what break. That's Walt Posing and Dave-o on the ground. The old fat guy is me.

Walt is kinda like "Monkey Boy" The roof is pitched at 25 degrees which doesn't sound so scary until you try walking on it.

Here is where we left off last night. Had to stop 'cause of the noise ordinance. (And I don't want to piss off the neighbors

Yes, I know he is barefoot. Better traction that way, (remember Monkey Boy?) and I really don't think a 120 psi framing nailer is going to be at all slowed down by a pair of sneakers.
Besides, who am I to argue with a teenager?

Nesting boxes, Siding, clean-out door (Yes Gallo, I saw you snuck one in and didn't tell anyone about it!

), caulking, primer and paint!

Wait, scratch that. Horses are more expensive then chickens. You might not want her to develop the horse hobby.
Better idea-Shars has canning and baking classes for about $10.00 apiece. I have the schedule. Next canning class is Tuesday morning this week but I think they have lots of evening classes, too.

Ooh, I love Shar's classes. The best part is eating! Her canning class got me off my duff to can my dried beans. No more Rosarita's for this family.

Oh I'd LOVE to take a canning class.
