Cool, Long Island....I was born in Southampton and lived in North Haven right near the Shelter Island Ferry.

We also have our CCW's and the best advise I ever received was this..... if you ever do have to use your weapon on someone who enters your home, when the police get there always state "I was in fear for my life!" and never tell them how many time you fired your weapon. Your answer should always be "I shot him/her until they stopped!". In the excitement our memory of the events may not be clear and this will protect you in the long run.

Very cool! I took Tammy to Fire Island for our Honeymoon & then again for another trip with the boys (sons) a few years ago.
