turkeybreeder: I was planning on raising them seperately - think one coop but seperate quarters - because they will have different crude protein in each of their diets. But that is definitely good to know that they don't usually get along.

Only got 6 eggs today. BUT, I HAVE A BROODY!

So, if the eggs I wanted to have Laree incubate, don't get here till Saturday, I'll just go ahead and put them all under her... as I don't want to mess up Laree's New Year's Day Hatch. If they come tomorrow, I'll let Laree incubate and I'll clean out any chicks from her incubator on the 10th so she can set more eggs on the 11th.... and I'll put the chicks under the broody!

Good morning all!

Going to the boat drags today!

I wanted to run this contraption by ya'll & see what you think - no gross picts.

My only concern is the cones may not be big enough for the fatties

I may take some pre-cut aluminum to Tracy's and fab a few bigger ones if you think they are too small. Lemme know, I'll check back before leaving school this evening.

AARRRGGGGG!

I checked the peepers & the fatty roo's legs are not right. He's got them splayed out & doesn't seem to be able to move about really well.

I feel terrible for him - tomorrow cannot come soon enough.
