unfortunately the crotch rocket is a remnant, not a project. It was stolen and recovered stripped.

She was my sweetie - rode cross country & all that.

I lost another black chick yesterday. Noticed it in the morning. Was just fine pecking around doing the chickey thing and now dead. No marks, no poopy butt.

All three of my buffs are doing great. Are the black silkies real touchy?
Good news tho. Cotton hatched out a silky chick! But I am worried. It is dark, maybe black. I did bring the chick in to go under the lamp with the others. My temperature is right. The other chicks don't even stay under the lamp anymore. The new chick did stay under and it is 96 degrees under the lamp.
Cotton has one more egg to hatch. I think it is a silky mix a friend gave me. She has a silky hen and a mix rooster. I candled the egg and it is full. Be interesting what she hatches.
I am still looking for a pet turkey to put in with my lonely Blue Bell. I can't spend much. Don't care what it is if it is friendly.
