Arizona Chickens

Oh, here I am. Wow, even harder to navigate from my phone. Will take some adjusting. But changen is always good otherwise life would be way to boring.

In other news, my mom is finally coming home today! She fought off the infection and is doing well. So I will be camping out at her house for the next month while she regains strength.

Congrats Noel! Great to hear good news about mom!

I took your advice and ordered 2 wellsummers and 2 sexlinks (In addition to to male and four female App Spitz!)

My couch is not comfortable.

As and added FYI to all - - - - I asked what ideal does with all excess male chicks. They said they have a surplus buyer who buys them all at the end of the week. I asked very directly and she said they do not shred their male chicks. I felt it was OK then to purchase pullets instead of straight run.

AND MY SPELL CHECKER DOES NOT WORK IN THIS NEW FORUM!!!

Wow.... What happened while I was away????

Noel, I still have those feeders, sorry have been side tracked helping a ill family member.

Not sure about this new format, but what the heck I'll learn it.

Hey, does anyone have experience raising Cornish X outside in summer? I received mixed responses when I posted in the Meat Birds ETC section, and no one was from the Desert Southwest. I'm planning to raise a batch after rabbit season ends in late Spring.
