I'm just trying to be user friendly.

We are 1/3rd of the way there...

If we use yellow (or black) ink ya'll can have your red or blue shirts.

One color shirt would make it way easier to spot but it'll work either way.

***Hahahahahaha! I quoted and edited my own post!***

Well today was moving day. I moved my 4, 6 1/2 week old chicks out of the garage and into their coop. Ihung a 250 watt red heat lamp for them to come on at 5pm and off at 9am. My daughter says they look cold but I told her they will be fine with the heat lamp. They will be fine right? It is only getting in tge 40's at night here in Chandler and they are pretty feather and have the heat source. The coop is a pretty open design

They should be fine. We moved ours out with a lamp into an open-air coop at that age and it was even colder then.

Today was moving day here too. We moved our 20 wk old pullets into the big coop with the hens. They free-ranged together all day and then we put them on the roost tonight. A couple of the hens tried to knock them off but we clamped a cardboard box in between them on the roost and everything settled down. I'll be getting up early enough tomorrow to make sure they all wake up without killing somebody.
The first time the two flocks met today the top pullet challenged the lowest hen. It took quite awhile before the pullet gave up. Then the top pullet challenged the top hen and that was very brief, hardly even noticeable. The top hen is also the smallest. She's an Ideal 236 and she rules with great style and grace.

What kinds of peaches do you have? Is there a favorite? I have to wait until next year for peach trees, but I'm curious about what other people are growing and like here in AZ.

I actually have three different types of peach trees. Bonanza, Florida Prince and Desert Gold (which I think is the same thing as Arizona Gold). Peaches grown really well here, and with three varieties that fruit at slightly different times, we'll have fresh peaches for almost two months, once the Desert Gold starts producing. Our trees are three years old, and last year we got a goodly crop off of both the Bonanza and the Florida Prince, both produced delicious peaches. The Desert Gold, which is a dwarf tree, blossomed but didn't set fruit. I have high hopes, though-we had a Desert Gold tree at my house when I was a kid, and it didn't produce until the third year, when we got a bushel of fruit off of a three foot tall tree. I've known other people with Desert Gold trees that were similarly productive.

OK gang here we go. I made four of them. One I like the best and one I think stinks. ANY thoughts of changing the logos around will be appreciated. By the way I tried a cactus but couldn't get it to look right. I thought blk/white would be best for showing up and cost affective. Any lines you see won't show up when printed in a color. I printed one out on my copier and the lines were all but gone.
Mikey, I want 1x Large and I vote for blue. But be happy either way.

I like the 3rd one...maybe with the other sun on it?
