Mikey: I know its belated, but I was so sorry to hear about your little chicks. So sad. I hope the new ones are hardier.

I would be up for carpooling to the poultry show on the 11th, if I go I'll be leaving the boys at home with my husband, so it'd just be me. I think I'm even more or less on your way.

Anyone ever have a problem with ACV growing mold in the water. I keep a gallon of water with a tablespoon of ACV in it on my counter for my daughter to refill the chicks water. I noticed mold spots on the bottom of the gallon jug today? I'm kinda nervous about using ACV in my automatic waterer now. It is the Braggs organic.

Yes, I use it in the auto waterer & never thought twice, Until I had a leak and really stuck my head in the bucket. It was nasty & I felt bad about having them drink that water. I'm making a 1X month maintenance schedule to clean out the bucket completely.

I use the same brand and was wondering if the 'mother' was what was contributing to turning the water into something else...

Mikey- My vote is for blue. Youth XS, Adult L, XL and XXL. This is fun. Thank you for making it work out!! I hate that you had that awful experience with the shipped chicks. I think sometimes it just happens. You need an incubator!! The babies you hatch yourself are soooo much healthier!! Going from Incubator to warm brooder and eating hours after hatching versus being pulled out of a toasty environment and tossed in a shipping box for days of travel....HUGE difference.

Fuzzy- Graphics look great!! You did good. I will call Denise today or tomorrow and make arrangements to deliver the other fuzzybutt.

Mama Hen Chris- You are Chicken Crazy!!!!! Purse is adorable!!

Gallo- Still waiting for my friend to decide what day to do the Tucson Gem Show. I will let you know as soon as she makes up her mind.

I like the 3rd one down too, but instead of Az thread I think we should say Arizona Ckickens becuase that is the actual name of the thread. Just an idea. As for the red /blue I can't decide but one color would be easier to find people. Did I say I am sooooooo EEEEXXXXXXCCCCIIIITTTTEEEEDDDD!

kevs-chickadees, the Dorsett Golden apples at my local nursery lost their leaves last winter. However, they were also the first to leaf out this spring.

Mahonri, running an orchard would be my dream job. You must have learned a lot.

AZKat, Thanks for your experiences with peaches! Those kinds of details are just what I'm interested in. That's crazy that such a small tree could produce so many fruits!
