I'd like to get the big ones on layer and I've been using the samples that were given out during the Tour De Coop for the chickies and have been having pasty butt issues with them EVERY FREEK'N DAY! Hopefully that good organic stuff will remove that issue...

I can't wait for the feed! I have been using feed from Wal-Mart *gasp!*. I know, I know...I shouldn't even admit it, but I was desparate. My girls have all but stopped laying. They have laid about 2 eggs the past week. Can food really do that? My four pullets from last Easter's hatch STILL haven't started laying. Maybe they'll change their minds with this new food.

I have good chicken news! My turkey hatched two Black Australorp chicks as of last night. Hopefully more of the 14 eggs will hatch, and she'll be a good foster chicken mama. I'll post pics this weekend.

Hopefully this will turn the recent run of bad luck on here!

Dubby, She is really pretty. This is my Ivan which I wanted to be a Ivy. Wouldn't they make pretty chicks together. I will have to sell Ivan. What breed is Harvey? Ivan is half silky and his daddy was a mutt. Ivan does have 5 toes on each foot.
