Arizona Chickens

Anyone use the Egg Maker feed from Walmart? What are your thoughts regarding the quality?

I bought it once, and my egg production went up. Granted it was when the days were getting longer, but I would buy it again. It's MUCH cheaper and my hens didn't seem to notice any difference. Mind you, my hens free range every day and gets LOTS of "treats"...left overs, garden plants, etc.

Has chipmunk stripes on back







Mama Gretchen has been panting all day. Poor gal. 4 more eggs under her. Will see what happens
the next couple days.

She is beautiful. She is a Gold Laced Wyandotte and is 20 months old.

Gretchen is gorgeous.. I just has 3 chicks hatch under my broody bantam Cochin. She is still with them and I am about to integrate them into the rest of the flock. I had given her 3 more that had hatched the day before so she has six. 5 Ameracunas and 1 Mille Flore d'unccle. It is so much fun to watch the chicks pop out from undereath the hen. Good luck with yours. My avatar is my broody hen with one of her chicks that likes to ride on her back. Must be a roo.

AWWWW !!! #2 Is beautiful and also the first one to NOT look like Daddy!!! Lets pray they all hatch!!! Dont give up!!!

Thank you Brookliner. I got her from a Feed Store. It is fun to watch them with her. More fun to come as they grow. Funny about bareback riding!
