Ok how do you give the chickens ACV?

put it in their water. i think its 1 tablespoon acv per 1 gallon water.

Thanks everyone. Will it hurt chicks if they are also in with the hens to have this water with ACV? Do you add this everyday?

I like to get them from QC Supply. The push-in types are best for buckets and the threaded types are easiest to install in pvc. You can teach older girls to use them, but you have to watch to be sure that they really have it down before you let them go completely without other watering sources.

I should give them oyster shell more often than I do. Ditto for grit. ACV helps them use the calcium they ingest better.

I think it's fine for the chicks.

I'll be adding it to the water in the proportions notinoz2007 suggested every time I change the water.

I got mine off of Ebay for less than .50 each.

All of mine have learned and the first batch was 3 months or so old (I think).

The second batch was 3 days old.

It's shiny - they'll peck it.
