Yup! That would be me and it's a heartbreak that the Yotes lost game one, but I'm sure that Mile Smilth will save the day again soon! Are there any ice hockey fans on this thread ?

I am just now seeing this; my deepest condolences.sometimes i think when we are having a bad day or feeling sorry for ourselves for one reason or another, something comes up to slap us back into a quick reality check and be ever so greatful of all the things in our lives that we do have. i got one today around 11:15.
my fireman's first cousin's wife was out walking their 18month old(only child) this morning down in awatukee. she collapsed and died right there on the sidewalk. we don't know the reason yet, her husband was out of town, her family lives in the midwest, his family in CA. all i know is that i will hug my family tighter tonight, but two other families will never be the same.
his cousin's wife passed, not the child.
@ Puffycheeks thanks so much for the info. I know how to do it but that would be a great class . My nieghbors got 30 broiler chickens, they are ready for processing in 6 weeks of age , grow supper fast and they weigh 54-5 pounds soild meat birds. He husband also built a plucker and ive seen those videos useing them on youtube , works super fast.I will pass on the info to her. heres one thing I can pass on about what ive learned from processing. take a gallon milk jug cut the bottom out . place the bird head first so the head comes out the small hole. kind the main artery in the neck and use a medical blade and cut the artery to bleed the chicken out , plus you can insert a cat at top of head ,inbetween eyes down into the brain to sever the brain nerves . this is the most humane way and they dont feel it. Never just chop head off the head and let it run! it shocks the body into spasm and the meat will be tough. then Blanch in boiling water for few seconds remove feathers , remove insides, remove head and feet last, clean and freeze.HI All. Although I am not in to processing my chickens I know some of you are. I found an ad on C/L and just wanted to pass on the info. Sat. May 19th at 9 am there is going to be a class, an actual class on processing a chicken from start to finish and you get to keep the chicken you processed. Cost is 20 plus 5 for a guest. It is being held at The feed barn and you can call 480-889-4374 for more info. YUCK for me but good for some of you! LOL
Terri she is so cute ! Im sure with your love she will over come her challanges and we will add her to our prayers also here.I got myself a super Mother's Day surprise! I don't have any human kids. Was over to a friend of Denise's that also raises goats and she has a lot of them. One little one was not doing so well for she was very tiny and needed extra attention even tho she was with her mother goat along with her sibling. This friend says she doesn't feel she can sell her but if she could find a home for her to nurse her and maybe she could make it, for this little gal has some nerve trouble to altho she is doing good right now. I said I would!! So this tiny 9 week old girl that is half the size of the 5 week old boys is my new baby! She still gets a bottle for she is so behind those her own age. I named her TRINKET! So if you guys can send up a prayer that she lives I would love you for it!
She has big blue eyes!
